Saturday, March 10th, 1838

At a meeting of the Seventies in Kirtland, discussion focuses on the possibility of the quorum as a whole moving to Far West following the Kirtland apostasy and Joseph Smith's flight to Missouri earlier in the year. The Spirit touches each man in attendance until all present are satisfied that the quorum should move immediately.
